With more than four decades of experience in the legal, information technology, and professional services markets, Ken Crutchfield advises businesses on revenue growth, product and market strategy, fundraising, and exit strategies.
His career has spanned start-ups and global enterprises, including general management roles in six businesses. He brings an operator’s perspective to questions of market change, innovation, business transformation, and growth.
From the emergence of online information services in the 1980s to today’s generative AI transformation, Crutchfield has spent his career at the intersection of technology and business, understanding not just what new technologies can do, but how they change products, markets, competitors, and business models.
He regularly writes and speaks about these issues through columns for Above the Law and LawNext, as well as on podcasts, at conferences, and at industry events.
Crutchfield began his career as an intern at LexisNexis and has held roles at Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Dun & Bradstreet, and Wolters Kluwer. He holds an MBA and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
